A father’s love, gets in the way

There’s so much I, want to say

All your choices, they're not mine

If only we could, turn back the time

       Know that I love you

       And that I love you

Second Chances…are all I need

I need from you

After all that we’ve been through

I can’t wait, to fly away

Sometimes your dreams, get in the way

Oh yes I know, but I can’t stay

We both can’t live, in yesterday

Know that I love you

And that I love you

Second Chances…are all I need

I need from you

A daughter’s dream, her hope and pride
Sometimes we laughed, sometimes we cried

There’s so much, we need to do

There’s so much, we’ve been through

Second chances…are all I need

I need from you

Second Chances…are all I need

From you

I’ll Take a Chance

We never know how, to find our way

We have each other

That much I’ll say

Heart of Darkness

Composer: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Arrangement: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Vocals: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Instruments: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Lyrics: Joseph A. O'Donnell

The fog of war, has always been clear

Can we take any more, or pack up our gear?

And go Away… Away

Writing the stories, we often resent

Layers of letters, never were sent

And thrown Away … Away…

There’s a heart of darkness, that blocks the light of day

There’s a lost and nervous soldier, who fights his will to stay

In that heart of darkness, that keeps our hearts at bay

There’s a poor and lifeless soldier, left to die, die another day

Down in the ditch, or up on a hill,

The sound and the fury, is silent and shrill

Then goes Away… Away…

There’s a heart of darkness, that blocks the light of day

There’s a lost and nervous soldier, who fights his will to stay

In that heart of darkness, that keeps our hearts at bay

There’s a poor and lifeless soldier, left to die, die another day

The fog of war, has always been clear

Can we take any more, or pack up our gear

And go Away… Away…

There’s a heart of darkness, that blocks the light of day

There’s a lost and nervous soldier, who fights his will to stay

In that heart of darkness, that keeps our hearts at bay

There’s a poor and lifeless soldier, left to die, die another day

Remembering

When I looked outside, you stood there

I couldn’t even make a sound

You couldn't even look me in the eye

We could hardly say…Goodbye

Remember when we used to have some fun

Long long walks, our faces in the sun

When all our dreams came true

It was all because of you

Remembering, the day we said…goodbye

Memories, are swimming in my mind

I’m drowning in that pool, going blind

Something tells me that I must go on.

And find the answers….in this Song

Remember when we used to have some fun

Long long walks, our faces in the sun

When all our dreams came true

It was all because of you

Remembering, the day we said…goodbye

Driftwood

Composer: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Arrangement: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Instruments: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Lyrics: Joseph A. O'Donnell

We are bumbling bees, buzzing around

Looking for honey, or any sweet sound

We are searching, out there looking around

If we see a mountain, we don’t climb

But we want a miracle, the easiest kind

We are searching, out there looking around

What can we do? What can we say?

We’re floating like driftwood, wasting away

If you only knew, the things that we know

We have, all that we want, but nothing to show

Show us what’s real, open our eyes

Tell us the truth, and hear us cry

We are helpless, out there looking around

What can we do? What can we say?

We’re floating like driftwood, wasting away

If you only knew, the things that we know

We have, all that we want, but nothing to show

What can we do? What can we say?

We’re floating like driftwood, wasting away

If you only knew, the things that we know

We have, all that we want, but nothing to show

Ghost Girl

Instruments: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Lyrics: Joseph A. O'Donnell

It was a cold night, a fire in the flame

Then I would think of her, a portrait in a frame

Was she a dream? Fading away

Ghost girl, Ghost girl, a picture that I drew

Ghost girl, Ghost girl, a love I never knew

So long ago. Nobody knows

Like a ghost you would come and go

An empty face, I could never see

A reality, I knew could never be

Was she a dream? Fading away

Ghost girl, Ghost girl, a picture that I drew

Ghost girl, Ghost girl, a love I never knew

So long ago. Nobody knows

Like a ghost you would come and go

Lyrics: Joseph A. O'Donnell

I was born alone

To a dark world yet unknown

I’m a blind man, who wants to see

Then a light, came over me

It’s a time, and a place. It’s an everlasting grace

It’s a hope, and a dream

To believe.

My time will pass to history

My life reveals the mystery

Then I know, and understand

And feel the palm, of heaven’s hand

It’s a time, and a place. It’s an everlasting grace

It’s a hope, and a dream

To believe.

It’s a time, and a place. It’s an everlasting grace

It’s a hope, and a dream

To believe. Believe

Give, what you can to me

Live, like you want to be

But don’t, turn away from me…This time

Give, give a little love, Give a little time

To you and me

Take, what you need from me

Mistakes, you’ve forgiven me

Forsake, what you said to me…This time

Give, give a little love, Give a little time

To you and me

Please share, a lifetime with me

Say a prayer, for what will be

Forgive, for eternity…This time

Give, give a little love, Give a little time

To you and me

There’s a time for giving, and its right here and now

If you ask for forgiveness, you’ll find it somehow

The Light is You

Composer: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Arrangement: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Vocals: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Instruments: Joseph A. O'Donnell

Lyrics: Joseph A. O'Donnell

My brother, you revealed a broken tear

Then I sat there, as I watched you disappear

Then a sun rose, it left behind my sorrow

It spilled into tomorrow

The light is you

The light is you

Shine on

The light is you

Suddenly, as you passed on through the door

My heartbreak, doesn’t hurt me anymore

Then I saw you, right before my eyes

Much to my surprise. Your spirit touched the skies

The light is you

The light is you

Shine on

The light is you

Shine on... Shine on... Shine on... Shine on...
